Exploring Singapore (SG)

Singapore or officially known as Republic of Singapore and tag as the City of the Lions. Ironically, there is no lions can be found in or nearby the country. The nearest land in Singapore where lions are resided is India, which is about 2500 miles afar. It is quite interesting why the country is called as such.

Singapore now belongs to the top 4 Asia’s Tiger Countries. The country consists of one big diamond-shaped island (called as the main island) and a small number of smaller islets which makes it more interesting to explore.

Tourist Destinations in Singapore
  1. Marina Bay Sands
Marina Bay Sands is one of the best tourist spots in Singapore. It is built in a three 55-story buildings connected together and topped with a breathtaking infinity pool. Also, it is known to have two thousand five hundred (2500) beautiful hotel rooms and amazing entertainment complex.
  1. Singapore Flyer
The Singapore Flyer is another thing that you shouldn’t miss when you visit Singapore. It has a height of 165 meters making it known as the World’s Giant Observation Wheel and biggest tourist destinations in Asia.

Singapore Flyer was brilliantly designed by Dr. Kisho Kurokawa together with the DP Architects. It rises in 2008 and gives every human being a great experience as you can see from the top the Marina Bay’s Skyline and a glimpse of Malaysia and Indonesia.
  1. Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is certainly worthto pay a visit if you are in Singapore. Since, this temple housed a Buddha Tooth relic, it sounds old but to be amazed it is not at all. The temple was built in 2005 and kept various Buddha relics found in a stupa located in Myanmar during 1980. Stupa is said to be mound-like structure having Buddhist relics or remains. The stupa is also used by the Buddhist as a place for worships.

The Night Safari is also one of the Singapore prides. It is known to be the No. 1 Night Spot in Singapore. You will find a lot of zoo animals here, wherein you are allowed to feed some. But if you are not the type of individual who enjoys watching animals play around, you will certainly enjoy the good view and some impressive restaurants situated here. They offer delectable menus which are good buys for its price.

Singapore Botanic Garden offers a wide range of fantastic and quality botanical collection. Even if you are not a plant person; you will definitely love every plant you get to see in this place. The botanic garden, its official name,containsroughly 3,000 species both tropical and subtropical plants. To add on, there is approximately 500,000 preserved specimens in its herbarium.
